They are smaller than the very large Nubian breed and larger than their other half, the Nigerian Dwarf. The Mini-Nubian doe stands, at the tallest 29 inches at the withers. The buck 31" at the tallest.

I have 25-50 goats at any given time and they range from doelings at 23 1/2" to a 31" full-grown buck. I love the taste of their milk and I have a herd of girls who are well-behaved on the milk stand. My goal is to have easy-to-handle animals (sometimes it takes some training) with easy-to-milk teats with soft texture, length, and orifices.
I try to breed for an animal that a young child all the way to the most arthritic hands can milk. I do milk testing as often as I am able and try to utilize the MDGA virtual show opportunity. I am a board member of the Mini-Dairy Goat Association (MDGA) and am learning more and more about this wonderful breed every year I do this!
